How to Define Max Upload Size

To increase or decrease the maximum image size, flash size, media size or document size that can be uploaded within the HelpConsole editor, do the following:

  1. Use a text editor such as Notepad to open "C:\Program Files\HelpConsole 2008\_engine\default_project.aspx"
  2. Look for the "<radE:RadEditor>" tag and add the attributes 'MaxImageSize', 'MaxFlashSize', 'MaxMediaSize' and 'MaxDocumentSize' as shown below. For example if MaxImageSize is set to 5000000, the size allowed will be 5 megs.

<radE:RadEditor ID="editor1" Runat="server" DocumentsFilters="*.doc,*.pdf,*.htm" MaxImageSize="5000000" MaxFlashSize="5000000" MaxMediaSize="5000000" MaxDocumentSize="5000000"></radE:RadEditor>
