How to Customize Font List

HelpConsole includes a few default fonts that should work with all browsers on all platforms. The default fonts are:
- Times New Roman
- MS Sans Serif
- Tahoma
- Verdana
- Arial
- Courier New

This font list can be customized by doing the following:

1. Use a text editor such as notepad to edit the file c:\program files\helpconsole 2008\_engine\toolsfile.xml.
2. Add a <fontnames> section and define the fontnames that you wish to include, as shown below:

3. Save the file.

The custom font list will now be displayed in the in HelpConsole editor. If a disabled symbol appears when you move the cursor over the font list, try clicking the 'more' button. This will cause the toolbar to be reloaded and should then work.
